We're far from the Finnished article!

Hello coffee lovers! I thought I would check in and give everyone an update about us, our journey and what we're hoping to try and do over the weeks and months.

We've been trading for a few months now and it's been such great fun, but we've got so much to do and so many ideas to work with, plus we've been really lucky to have also had bucket loads of feedback and input, for which I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and advice. We're a young, small, ambitious business and we want to share our great coffee all across the UK.

So here are a few things I want to do over the coming weeks and months.

Two new blends coming to the store

We are working to pull together two new blends to sell which we hope you'll really love. First, we'll be introducing a decaf blend so those who want to cut down, or just love the coffee but don't want the caffeine can also enjoy a freshly roasted cup of Kahvi Roast too. Second, with the Holidays coming around the corner, I want to introduce a festive blend of Kahvi Roast for a limited time only. Keep your eyes peeled as we bring these products to the site soon!

Coffee starter pack

We've had interest from people who would love to brew a cup of Kahvi Roast, but simply don't have the equipment to do it! So we are thinking about introducing a coffee dripper, filter papers and possibly a grinder to the site and maybe having a Kahvi Roast starter pack on store to purchase. We'll also draw up a few guides on how to perfect your brew.

Clearer postage & packaging

Something that we're aware of is our postage and packaging costs come right near the end, we want to clean that up so we are going to look at how we can make it clearer for everyone what the postage costs are and that there are no surprises. We're giving this one some thought!

New site, images, more on our journey

We want our coffee to really stand out. We believe it's so special, so we want to make our site bolder and brighter, just like our coffee! We'll be putting some effort into our website to hopefully help with that. Also we are going to take more pictures, photos and so on of our fab coffee. We will also talk more about us - we're a family, with a love for Finland and Finnish family so we're talking from the heart here. We'll share more about us and how we have adored Finnish life and their love of coffee too.

Charity

Supporting communities and charities is a big thing for us personally, so we are planning to donate some of our profits to good causes in the future. We are again thinking about this and who / what / how we donate, but we are 100% committed that we want to support others.
